For traditional double girder heavy duty overhead crane, travel switch takes little space on the overhead bridge crane configuration, of course, it is also the cheapest part. However, new type overhead crane pays much attention and technology on travel switch. Here are the meaning why we use high cost strong strength switch.

The changing is because an accident. Some of overhead crane may have problem on the direction for hoist trolley test by our engineer, and sometimes it just cannot move. And the other action are no problem. You may think that hoist trolley is run out of power, but the other movement is smooth. So it is not the problem. After many times test, engineers find that problem happens because of the limit of travel switch. Bending amplitude of limit ruler is small, so the connection of travel switch is not good. And the limiter ruler belongs to non-standard product, it relies on the technique of operator. If the operator has less experience, then the limit ruler may have the same problem.

In order to solve the problem caused by human, excellent manufacturer uses photoelectric switch or cross fork type switch. Though the price is higher than transitional LX1012B switch, it doesn’t need a limit ruler. So operator cannot influence the angle or size, and without the influence, your overhead crane can be more safe.
